NOM to compete in DreamHack summer LAN in Sweden

NOM is excited to announce that Fortnite players FeRinS and SoMiN will be competing in the upcoming DreamHack Summer 2022 event in Jönköping, Sweden for a chance at $200,000.

NOM is excited to announce that Fortnite players FeRinS and SoMiN will be competing in the upcoming DreamHack Summer 2022 event in Jönköping, Sweden for a chance at $200,000.

This is the first international Fortnite LAN since the COVID-19 pandemic started. The last one was another Dreamhack event, which was in Anaheim in 2020. This will also be the first LAN outside of Israel that the players will be competing in. Players from around the world are expected to attend the tournament in Jönköping, with some notable names including EU pros MrSavage, Fray, and Refsgaard. NA pros are also expected to attend as well. Some of the notable ones include Ceice and Punisher.

The event is actually broken up into two tournaments. One, being the classic Battle Royale we're used to seeing, and the other being the new and popular Zero Build game mode. Both will be held in the solo player format and both players will compete in each.

The event starts on June 18th and runs until June 20th.

For Battle Royale, Heat 1 and 2 will take place on June 18th and Heat 3 and the Finals will take place on June 19th. For Zero Build, Heat 1 will take place on June 18th, followed by Heats 2 and 3 on June 19th, and then Heat 4 and the Finals on June 20th.

In both tournaments, the $100,000 prize pool will be broken down depending on where you place. The winner in each tournament will take home $12,000, second place $6,000, and third place $5,500. Everyone who plays in the Finals will walk home with at least $200, as that is the reward for placing 76-100.
